Saw a very new looking one parked by a local park (boondocking?).  Sharp set up, hydro levelling jacks very discreet but effective, a slide ext
ended but subtle.  Thing looked so buslike I took a closer look, then checked it out online. Spartan chassis with a Cummins, and a steering tag.  Actually looked pretty solid, not very sticks and staples looking, but what do I know.

Pretty coach for sure. Steering tag is passive. But still, makes turns tighter.

Still is a sticks and staples. Look solid until you see one in a crash. Not pretty. Good Luck, TomC

Can I thread drift slightly? I know some have "fauxed" their GM windshields to delete the center post divider. Can an MCI be modified to have one solid windshield?

Anything can be done. How much do you want to spend? I always like the idea of staying with stock, for ease of replacement. Good Luck, TomC

Sure a lot of people walking away from old buses to the higher end RV's for some reason.I have a friend that just sold a good Eagle and bought a used Vogue V5000 with a 3406 Cat engine it is very well built probably better than a bus as it was built from the ground up with a frame and off the shelf parts

the glass in the mci is alot cheaper. first you would need to find one that fits with little modification. at minimum you would have to modify the edge of the frame because it would be easier to glue the glass in rather than use a rubber gasket. you wouldnt need the center post anymore because then the glass would be more stuctural and it would be stronger than the 2 piece version. if you find a glass, you should buy two just in case.

Lol I think when you price a 1 piece windshield to replace the 2 piece version you are going to think how good the 2 pieces look

The owner of a Monaco in the same yard where I store my bus says that the one-piece windshield for his RV is well over $1,000  -  that's why he get's all his small stone chips fixed immediately, before they can grow into cracks, or worse.   One reason I chose my bus is because it has all flat glass, so it would be easy and cheap to replace any of it.

We saw some really nice high end RVs on our last trip so looked them up on the manufacturer's site. The deal killer is how close to their maximum weight they are. If their maximum weight is 28,000 lbs and their "dry" weight is 25,000 lbs, their isn't much room for your stuff after adding fuel and water.

I don't know about the king aire, but we really
Like lots of headroom inside and I haven't found a ton of class a's with a lot of headroom plus belly storage.

Very nice but wait until you have to price one. Usless your very wealthy your will be paying until you die.
I wa at a RV dealer once and a couple was buying a new class A and the sales rep was quoting them over $3000.00 a month finance.
