Greetings!

I am looking for an automatic tire inflation gauge, straight foot, locking dual head, that I can hook to my compressor that will automatically shut off when the proper pressure is reached. My compressor isn't that big and it takes 10 to 15 minutes to equalize each tire.

I thought I saw one at a truck tire service center, but for some reason I forgot to ask.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks eversomuch ;)

I just use a regular air chuck and set a inline regulator to the desired pressure and walk away it's worked for me for years, you should be able to set the regulator on your compressor to do the same thing

Some regular air chucks don't stick...are you using a clip on ? when i bought my new steers the young fellow who put them on gave me a stab on I like it. he said Loves will only let them use that type.

you can whip the hose and it pops off...never saw that type before.

Dear Don,

Do you have a model number? Googled "Stab-On" and nothing comes up.

Thanks!

Ooooh! That was it Don! Thanks for that one. That was a hard one to find. For some reason most of the descriptions don't list a critical feature like "Lock-On". Clifford suggested an in-line air regulator. Think I'll build a couple this week. My friend just bought a Holiday Rambler and he'll need one too. Tried to get him into a bus, but he got such a great deal.

Thanks again guys!!!

Regulators can fail.
I have used them for this purpose.
That doesn't make it the "safest" choice. :)

I would learn the performance of my compressor and time my effort accordingly... JMWay..YMMV IMO etc.

I think my compressor kicks off at 125 anyway; 5 lbs won't make much of a difference. I just didn't want to have to crouch down and baby-sit the fill-up for 15 minutes for each tire. I have much more important things to do like watch the grass grow. ;)

Thanks Don!!!

Just adjust the compressor pressure switch to what you want.
