I did a search and it said 65150 obsolete part and gave this as a replacement but I dont have a clue if it is correct or not because it was not a match of the full number you gave. > http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Brake-Drums-H-D-Truck-Disc-Outboard-Webb/_/R-TWR65157B_0313351039

14.5 x 10 is a pretty common transit bus brake size. I have that on my bus in the rear and a 14.5 x 6 in the front. Check with Freightliner dealers that carry parts for Thomas buses. I know that a 16.5 x 7 brake drum for a truck is around $85.00. Their price on that 15 x 6 is WAY out of line. Good Luck, TomC

  HI;
     Might also try removing a wheel to see the part number cast
     on the existing brake drum. Mine are a replacement part
     made by Webb.             (MCI)

Chessie, does your 4905 have a cast steel hub or a aluminum cast ?

Find you a very good and willing truck parts person.  They can find you a drum by measuring yours.  I was looking for rear drums Eagle model 20NJT.  I realize mine is much newer, but she found the drums.  PM me for name and number.   Art

I think I just saw, within the last 10 days or so, that JD at C&J Bus Repair in Bloominton, MN said that they have an adapter kit available to use a common brake drum on the 4905s, since the OEM seem to be impossible to find.  Might give them a call: (952) 881-0034

Hey,

Just got a new tip on the 4905 rear brake drums being a rare part now. I called the C&J folks and the adapter kit is $1500. This is not the total cost to convert from the old brakes to a common size as the kit does not supply a number of parts needed once converted. You'd need to call them to get the details if you go this route. JD and Steve are very cool dudes, very helpful.

A little pricey to me when you could find the drums new they cost $160.00 ea lol I worked on a 4905 that was a treat trying to find the aluminum rear hubs and finally found a steel replacement I don't think the 4905 was supposed to have aluminum hubs and have no idea how they ended up on his bus
