Yup, pretty much everything causes cancer to rats in California  -  I wonder if Arizonan rats are as cancer-prone as their brothers across the Colorado River.   When I worked in the bike biz we had MSDS for the plastic-covered brake cable housings that apparently contained lead  -  I was told in all seriousness by a rep from Jagwire that it was to prevent people licking them!   Talking about MSDS, there's even an MSDS for water:  http://www.sciencelab.com/msds.php?msdsId=9927321   I'm glad it didn't say to flush your eyes with water, like most MSDS tell you to do.

I'm sure Science Lab is required to supply an MSDS for anything they sell.  They sell deionized water for $60 for a liter!  I guess that is why they have an MSDS for it.

Reminds me of a hospital stay where they woke me up in the middle of the night to take my sleeping pill.  Some things should not need to be stated.  Anyone buy a good knife lately and read the warning that it is sharp and may cause injury?  A knife? who would have guessed that you could cut yourself with a knife?  Still, we hear of folks who have their car take off on them and they call 911 and then die while on the line rather than turn off the key or shift into neutral and let the engine blow.   Common sense sometimes seems to be in as short a supply as single sticks of welding rod.

Ever read the MSDS for waterless hand cleaner? I forget the brand, but in the first aid measures section, in case of skin contact, flush with water.

I wonder why the label said waterless . . . . . I guess waterless doesn't mean what one would think . . . .

Too many lawyers trying to make someone with money responsible for a village idiot's actions.

I'm amused that the MSDS for air (yes, even compressed air has an MSDS) states that it needs to be used outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.

I'm for no warning labels. If you're too dumb to use the product.....well the gene pool gets deeper.

When it comes to people doing stupid things like sucking on spray paint or sniffing gas, :o I say ' remove the warning labels and let Charles Darwin's theory of 'Natural selection' prevail. Problem solved. ;)

Ned, Looks like the October Non Rally will have to serve a dual purpose . . .
