TomC we stayed in one of those huge retirement communities that had RV spaces too in northern Phoenix, they sent out the 'maintenance' (for lack of better description) person too. He barely made it through the doorway before he did a uturn and gave the thumbs up to the lady and then headed in the other direction.
I am with bigred, we like the mom and pops or county/state parks. You can keep your 'Resort' types, not really for me.

Be very careful who's toes you step on today because they may be connected to the butt you"ll have to kiss tomorrow.I have seen a couple of times some of these places would have been glad to see some 15 or 20 year old coaches.Kinda funny ,but that big wheel keeps turning and sooner or later it stop's at every one's door!!

That last line"but that big wheel keeps turning and sooner or later it stop's at every one's door!!"  What does that mean?  What is a big wheel?

When you see the Grim Reaper himself ride up to your house on one of these, you know it's time to go:  http://originalbigwheel.us/   Don't let appearances deceive you  -  he's still the dude with that big ol' scythe.

Around here, the parks seem to be more concerned about older rigs messing up their power or not being able to leave when their money runs out.

I don't care what the rig parked beside me looks like - the worse it looks, the better mine looks.  ;D

What does bother me -
-  leaking water or worse on the ground.
-  messing up my electrical power (my ability to run the A/C).
-  rude, loud, obnoxious people or children or pets.

If they don't want me, their loss.  -  I probably would have been more uncomfortable than I made them. . .

LOL when Tony and Pam had their rally in the resort in Pahrump NV this spring that had a 10 year rule there was nothing there that could make it even if they had a 20 year rule and all was good

Forgot to mention that any rig that kills mosquitoes is welcome beside me - especially if the smoke is from a 2-stroke!

We play music as a family with our teenage kids. We were booked to perform at a park in Arizona a few years back where the sign at the entrance stated no Rv's older than 10 yrs and you also had to be at least 50 years of age. We didn't meet either requirement but because we were the entertainment we got to stay 3 nights and plenty of folks wanted to see the bus. Maybe suggest you'll sing for your site? Craig

Yeah Ed, but you have a 5a, which everyone knows is timeless!

Fwiw, bus conversions seem to be given the year of the completed conversion.  I was talking to the driver of a friends rented entertained, it was a 90s at best Prevost.  When asked driver with a straight face .told me it was a 2009. Now I'm not up on my prevos but there is no way that bus was 6 years old...paint job, couches and flooring maybe. So like someone else mentioned if your still working on it, its newer than brand new.

Go to Walmart they have no 10 year rule  ;D me I just don't like 50 bucks a night for a power cord
