Hard to tell from a pic but those liners have more that 100 hrs. on them. when we did our thousand hour testing for the epa and carb our liners and pistons did not look like that. It looks from the pic like the set on the right had water in the cylinder. I don't care what oil you use it wont hold up to water and or coolant in a cylinder. I sold Clifford some liner piston kits with 105 hrs. on them we took out of a gen set and they looked way better then that and they used 15-40 oil in it.

I was just going ask if you and ken and a few others were still on the board. I can't make it this year but am looking at trying for next year. I am doing good how are you and Wilma doing.  Wonder how many we could get there if we advertise.    RALLEY AT BKS   oh and don't let him know we are coming it spoils all the fun

Don  Just need a leader and Gary to provide the bacon.

have a good day. and Wilma is as mean as ever.  Just spent 2 weeks in West bygod Virginia.
started to  Scotts rally but she got sea sick going across hy 58 in Tenn. and had to feed here Dramamine for two days at
Cumberland state park. To late to get to Indy so toured WV.

Always ready for a visit from you the mountains are still green and full of spring water.

I need to work for three more years, If could find a good paying job back there some where I would move in a heard beat. I was talking to BK the other day about moving there but not many jobs that pay what I would like to make.  Quit rocking the boat and maybe Wilma wouldn't be as sick. LOL

Love those mountains back there.  I need some more of that spring water, I make bbq sauce with it great flavor.  We need Gary and his Bacon the dogs miss him.

As a newbie, I don't know much at all about buses yet but I am convinced beyond any doubt that the white smoke that was coming from my 87 mc9 6v92 ta was caused by a combination of 15/40 oil and ransit or bad/water?, diesel fuel because after I changed the oil and bought #1 diesel at a truck stop, the smoke stopped completely. It's Rotella T 40 for me from now on.

Uncle Ned, I'm just curious. I live in WV and wondered where you put up for two week.  Danny

Spent about 10 days at Watoga State park. rode the old trains at Cass and Durbin

Never seen 12 degree roads untill there.

Huggy was not in high gear over 4 times the whole time but I love the back roads.

Started to the rally in Indy but Mama got sick crossing hy58 in Tenn. and we
spent several days at Cumberland Mt. state park. To late to get to the rally so we toured the country.

Left there and went to interstate park on the border of Kent. and Vir. Home of the grand canyon of
the east. Then to WV

Great trip and Huggy preformed great

Hey don, do you still have some takeout 8v71 liner kits? I'm going to be doing a rebuild in the spring. I might talk to the fella doing it and see if he's interested in using them. AA deisel in Mohave valley I'm sure you know him.
