What is this cover that's leaking behind the water crossover tube and how hard is it to reseal

Once tropical storm billy moves on his merry way outta Texas, I can go in back of our 9 and look. We also have a 6v92...I'll try to see what that is on our coach...

Thanks, it's a small cover that's leaking but I'm not sure what it's for and if it's attached to anything behind it.

That is the governor shaft bearing cover,remove it, use some good pipe thread compound and screw it back it nothing is going to jump out and bite when you remove it

Thanks cliff. I've been so buried in my fuel tank removal on our other bus that I haven't gotten to this yet. But, sounds like I wouldn't have known what that was anyway :)
