Has anyone had any luck in tracking down the mesh elements for the air cleaners on a 4104? Or perhaps a way to convert to a modern paper element?

I thought I remembered reading about someone who had found a paper element that would slip into the stock cans, replacing the oil bath system.

John, check out this discussion on the busnut forum. You'll need three filters to make it work from what I'm understanding http://busnut.com/forum/index.php?topic=1703.0

Thanks Scott, for the link. I'm going to look up some of those numbers. My 4104 doesn't have the threaded rod mentioned, so will need to do something a bit different to make one of them fit.

Paper filters are great, just stay away from the K&N jokes.
