Where is the best place to winter?

We have friends from Mossinnee  WI that winter with us.  They are in Naples for  March. The friends you make on the road will be like a 2nd family.

For us in the high desert, it really does not get much better than home, and I could see this as a good area for the snowbirds, as they are called.  However, the Palm Springs and all the adjacent cities  (Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, etc.) in the low desert nearby would be an excellent choice.  There are lots of people there that claim they do not own a pair of long pants.  Aside from the good temps, there is very little humidity, which is a big plus for me.  The area has lots of activity, stores, a good airport, and great medical facilities.
