why bring politics or prejudice

I have had the unique pleasure of meeting the famous and the well known in my life. I have gotten to know people with the drive to acheive and attain what other people consider milestones of some sort. I have seen detractors go further than just a jab in a commentary,  personal and pointedly hurtful, intended to purposely chip away at the drive of some one whose intent was to help their little corner of mankind, to allieviate or mitigate problems arrising from nature, business or legislation. I have seen how these comments distract or weaken this drive, on ooccasion cause a momentary or even permanent stray from the course of good will these people have set themselves on. Many of these folks only want to do good things to help mankind, us.
     People like this, several of whom we associate with on this forum, I am pleased to say a friend, Clifford, one of the most prominent of this revered group, are just good people at heart. Doing what they think can contribute to our little corner of mankind to make things better in some way. Their uniqueness, is not only their incredible recall and diagnosis abilities, but also their ability to look past the detractors, who seem to revell in the chipping away at the sucess of others , and continue to do the good work their hearts and unusully clear sight of the big picture, allows them, putting aside the small slights, to continue to help us, tom...

Yeah Lee, was talking about the Bus stuff with Cliff and the notes. He would stay above the fray on the other (politics). But back to the other subject, The President said on voting day in his last election and I think many took him up on it " Today, Vote early and Often"

Hi Guys, thanks and thanks Dave, I'm  OK, just been bothered lately by so much negative talk, nothing seems different than usual, as Clifford says, same as usual, same old same old, maybe that nothing changes is what bothers me, maybe not. It's  so great to be working on the bus, tho, would rather be bus converting with the guys, than shooting shows! ...I'll  have to put a pond in the livingroom of the bus, wait Tami says no...

I too have had the rare opportunity of working with the famous in my life.

It has convinced me once and for all that I'm mighty lucky to not be one of them.

I don't have a single famous friend who has the discernment to realize that life worth living is hidden among the things they take for granted. Prince never gave a crap about his buses, his bands, his friends and his family, which is where all that meaning he was searching for in success was hidden all along. I've worked with or befriended pretty much every musical celebrity I have ever wanted to work with and other than a few exceptions Garth, Michael McDonald, Sheryl Crow, they are all therapists living retirement plans. I don't envy a damn one of them.

Why people snipe at one another seems to be a much simpler reason than trying to understand the drive behind the will to be famous.
