Yes, but it's in rough shape, I'd be embarrassed to give it to anyone!  I plan on using it as a template to make a heavy duty base with SS sheet metal. They make the lid out of SS and the base out of mild steel, must be a cost savings move.  The road salt and crude settle in the base, plus they don't use appropriate metal prep and paint.  I don't know what the life expectancy is of one of these units hung from a truck frame rail in the northern part of our country is, but the units seem to outlast the bases.

Onelapper,

While you are making one why not make a second one for Opus. After all, the first one is the toughest. The second much less so since you have already made a pattern for the sheet metal. Who knows there may even be a market amongst the busnuts where you can break even. Our pockets are not deep enough for much profit to be made ;D

I'll start working on it to get an idea of the prices......  there might be some interest.  Unfortunately, most if not all of my projects end up 300% over my estimates!

Huh...what.....my base is fine.  :)

I'm making a test box.  I'm working on enough of these now that this would be handy thing without the $500 cost of buying one.
