What an interesting spec sheet.  Uncommon use of the the english language, but all correct and very understandable.  11.8 amps for the 15Kbtu unit at 120 VAC input, and 55 db noise level.  The main use of the inverter tech seems to be driving the motors very efficiently at variable speed and without inrush current on turn-on.  They have heat pump and electric heat otions, and down to 6.75 amps for a 9K btu unit.

My Freightliner has an aging 12K BTU rooftop unit that freezes up sometimes and sounds like a helicopter on the roof.  I really like minisplit systems and am still considering using one on my RV.  My toterhome has a 12' living quarters and there isn't much room on the interior walls for the evaporator and no luggage bays for the condenser.  When I spotted the AISLU unit I thought that it would be perfect for replacing an existing rooftop unit.  A 9000 BTU unit should do the job nicely.  I often use this RV in places where the amperage is very limited so the soft start and low current draw of an inverter compressor will be a big asset.  I don't know what the SEER rating on this unit would be but it has to be better than the old Coleman which is up there now.

And if the claimed power consumption numbers are correct, I could even run a 9k or 12k off my solar panels.   Yeah!   Mind you, my whole roof is covered by panels, so maybe I would have to put one under the floor and duct it up.   It's another option instead of a minisplit.   Choices, choices.

Got off somewhat early today and went to R&L trucking to pick up the new Coleman A/C unit and after getting it unboxed, it looks like it will work just fine. Pretty simple instructions and now to find time to get it in the truck! 😜
