Anybody Else Have An Angola Coach Conversion?

Mine has an 8kw genset with two 35 amp legs.

Have been trying to figure out where the electrical panel is with the breakers for the two legs.

If anyone else has an Angola, where did they hide it?

In the meantime, this weekend's project is to pull out the (useless) built-in vac system from the service bay, and install the new ShurFlo water pump that came with the coach.

How can you spot the new (to him) coach owner? He's the one who includes the phrase "this weekend's project" in his posts. No, wait a minute, that's all of us. Congrats on your new bus, RJ; best wishes for getting it set up just as you want it. What's the weather like where you are (many places, people are shut down until warmer weather)?

On My Angola MCI 8 they were on top of the generator

Don't have an Angola but on my 15 KW Kubota gen set it's on the back of generator. Mine dropped a leg and burnt the breaker box up inside and tech put another complete box it. Had to pull gen set out past slide to get to it.

Bruce, every weekend project of mine seems to take a month for some reason. Funny how that works, LOL.

Does the time start when you say your going to do the weekend project or when you actually start it?

I may be wrong but I think "Hard Headed Ken's" Prevost is an Angola conversion IIRC!

Take the time to check and verify tight connections at all the screws in fuse panels and, especially the generator output box. They have a tendency to loosen over time from vibration and start burning/overheating.

I have a 93 Prevost Angola Conversion. the breakers are on my 15kw genset, frount and center.

The transfer switch is in the front bay drivers side, roof of the bay. The generator start relays are also mounted on the roof of that bay.

I saw the thread but I think mine is so different I wouldn't be of much help. Mine is 50 amps per leg of 110VAC and you can't miss the breaker panel.
