I recently purchased a 1991 102C MCI with a HT740 Transmission from California , once i started into northern Canada into the wet snow on the roads i found that when i put into reverse i would loose power engine would drop down to low idle no power in reverse is this a governor issue , never had this problem with MC9 witch has the same transmission , only difference between the 9 and the 102 is the 9 is a stick not a push button .

Sometimes it will go crazy if you push from D to N and then to R. I found that if you go from D to R or R to D without going to N it was fine. Let us know 😄

After i got the bus into the garage , i pointed the canvas  shoot from the herman nelson directly at the side of the transmission where  there is a electronic sending unit witch takes the commands from the push button control in side beside the drivers seat ,,  my thoughts were first the governor but it was the control module filling up with ice kinda of a Mickey Mouse set up im going to find a way to protect  it from the elements so i don't have problems in the future .
Thanks
