For those of you that are members and interested. Doesn't apply to Clifford.
Latest FMCA magazine states that the Michelin Advantage discount tire program now covers car and truck tires as well as rv's. I know that everyone can do better on their own or dislike Michelins for whatever reason but info for rest.

What does one have to do to qualify for this discount.  (I know that other people hate them, buy I first bought a set ~40 years ago for a Dodge Maxivan; I have rarely bought anything else and was sorry when I did.   I've been through about 4 sets of Mich "Energie" tires on my VW TDI in 340K miles and averaged about 55 MPG.  Not telling anyone else what to do but I know what *I'll* do!)

The Advantage Program has always covered all vehicle tires I never thought about FMCA being any different, lol FMCA and I don't always agree that is true but I am still a member and keep paying my 40 bucks a year ($45 a year if you want the rag of a magazine)  and have since the 80's

This board should apply for the Advantage for the members they are easy to get, what I like about my Advantage over FMCA is I can pay the dealer and not have to pre pay and let FMCA find me a dealer :o I can do Michelin tires in 2 hrs not 2 days fwiw you can get the Advantage over on the Prevost board and save the 40 bucks a year for FMCA

Basically..."The tire purchase must be paid for with a credit card — VISA, MasterCard or American Express — at the servicing dealership. Michelin's corporate office will charge the credit card the discounted price. FMCA will then send the member — via e-mail — a copy of the invoice that reflects the total with the Advantage Program tire price".

"Currently, the FMCA Michelin Advantage Program is available at authorized Michelin dealers within the United States. The Michelin Advantage Program was originally designed to support trucking customers. FMCA is bringing the opportunity for RV owners to access the benefits of the program".

Of course you have to be an FMCA member or join. Once you are a member, you will be able exact details to purchase your tires.

If you have registered with Prevost Community and have not received an email with your password send me a PM or email the PC admin to let me know you did not get a password. Some email providers have blocked our emails, or you have an error in the email you provided.

Don't give up if you want to have access to the discount programs. We want all bus owners to be able to participate.

I guess the FMCA ran into problems with the S/S using the 235x 16 tires and needed to change the wording to cover the class c and the class b not all Michelin dealers will honor the Advantage fwiw
