For those that didn't know LVMCI sold his beloved "Italian Grey Hound" a 5A in search of a newer and larger coach to increase the living aboard experience. He is currently en route back home in his new find. Be sure and wave hello if you happen to see him whizzing by  ;D

Looks like a good one. Van are you going to be involved with the conversion, or B&B, or is Tom doing it himself? Another reason to visit you guys in Vegas now...

Hi all you wild and crazy guys, sitting in the DMV to get a trip permit, to go back and get the bus to bring it back to the DMV to look at the serial number plate! Bus did good climbing over the Sierra Nevadas, man those are some steep hills, YEA for 8V92s! What a shame , the drought is really messing with the beautiful Mt Shasta and lake, makes lake mead look like an ocean, saw RJ on the way home, bought me a milk shake and a gander at the bus, blew a hub gasket on one side, TA was great at checking the rear end oil, and filling, to get me home. Bus was dirty from sitting for 6 years, PO bought it, sat for 2 years, moved it to his farm, tore out seats and some overhead racks  and sat for another 4 years! Pretty messed up inside. But cleanable, all except the factory toilet that set 1/2 full for 4 years, gallon of formaldahyde toilet cleaner, water and ice cubes to knock the poop loose, to dump it, didnt want Tami to see or smell that! Drove great,  metric tires in front, 12R22.5s in back, RJ says they are very close in size, Tami loves it, cant wait to bring it over for Gary, Van and Joe to see.,  we will be at the Dam Rally with partial accomidations in place, hopefully renamed the Italian Greyhoud Due (2 in Italian)! thanks for all the well wishes, tom..

Tom that is a DDEC l engine it's a different world from your old 71 series the ECM controls the shut down ( oil pressure and heat) the override will let it run for a few minutes, you better start looking for a Pro/Link or a Kent/Moore reader that will read a DDEC l they are priceless ::) welcome to the world of electronic engines it's going to be a different learning curve for you my friend

Tom we cannot make it to the Dam rally this fall. But we are talking about coming down in January, and would for sure stop in Vegas to visit with you and the gang at B&B. And do Quarszite too. The only D model I knew was the hockey team's, and it had a Series 60, so I can't help you with a electronic 8V92, but I see Clifford is already on it. Looking forward to seeing the Dam Rogue new bus...
