I think it's the loose nut behind the steering wheel!

It's been over 3 weeks now and I still haven't heard back from the original truck owner regarding his lost title. SMH
I can honestly say, I threw everything I possibly could throw at him including our bus, fuel to bring it to me and back for him plus added cash to spend on his trip to and from. I offered to meet him half way, then offered me to just come get it and that's when the title issue came up! I'm thinking he either never wanted to sell it nor trade it OR he has it tied up in a loan and can't sell or trade it.
Either way, I kept him hanging and will continue to do so until I finalize the purchase of another truck.

Any chance that it was all a scam, Ace?  A way to get you to pay a "down payment" or "deposit" only to find out that the guy and truck didn't exist?

His finance's probably changed and the truck is no longer under his control, i.e.bank/lender took it back.

That's a good possibility.  He may have been trying to get out of it before the bank took it but they may have beaten him to it.

That could be! He did tell me he recently purchased a big car dirt race track and I thought it was strange that he could only do the deal in Sept/Oct and when the time came, he and his accountant couldn't find the title! I told him its a simple thing to do to acquire a new one but that was almost a month aha and no word since. I'm just goons wait and look at this other truck and if the deal goes smooth and I end up owning it, then I might call him!

When are you going to see the coach.  It looks good don't let someone else beat you there.

Jack looking at a newer truck than the first one! Leaving the 25th this month!
If someone beats me to it then so be it! I've still got a bus! LOL
Are you going to Hoboken?
If we can plan it right and all goes well with the truck, we might try and go there on the way back!

Jason just called and informed me the truck is back from the shop!
New ECM, new batteries, new alternator, and a new check valve in the fuel line!
He said it runs like brand-new

He told me today that since I was renting a car hauler from u-haul I might want to bring s ball hitch since the original owner kept the one on the truck and he wasn't sure what size u-hauls were using! I have many but just grabbed this heck of a steal on eBay. Less than half of what a brand new one cost, but still a good deal!
