I am going outside to get set up to smoke a whole turkey.  Had our first hard frost this morning, so I am happy I winterized the bus on Saturday.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We did the turkey bit yesterday, so leftovers today.  I deep-fried a 14 lb bird this year; lots of compliments.
Smoked bird sounds good too!

Enjoy!

Ham was the meat of choice here, bonne action de grâce.

We had a few friends over for turkey and to watch what turned out to be the fiasco in Montreal.

Drove the bus to Butte, MT to visit our oldest who is at Montana Tech in petroleum engineering there. Just got home a couple of hours ago. All day drive from Blackie just South of Calgary. Bus ran awsomely. Nice fall weather. Met a MC6 towing a full size pickup just West of Lethbridge on Hwy 3. What a sight! Anyway, could not find any turkey in Butte, but went out for nice dinner anyway.
