We purchased our 1959 GMC 4104-4073 just last month, on Sept. 7.  We are very pleased with our purchase, however we are having a difficult time acquiring any history on it.  The seller could not provide us with any information on whom he bought it from, and calls to New York have been unsuccessful.  If anyone knows how we can proceed in a more productive way, we would certainly appreciate it!

Our PD4104 has 6,000 miles on its new engine rebuild, there is no corrosion that we can see anywhere, new airbags and tires, 110/220 single phase, 6.5kw, propane-powered quiet generator, new 3-way fridge, new a/c/heating units.  Someone furnished the coach with Monaco furniture:  driver seat, 1 1/2 wide passenger seat, J-couch, 2 rocking recliners, all in pearl leather/vinyl, and the cock-pit switch panel is Monaco.

It is a very nicely done conversion, with only a few things left to be done to make it our own.  We are already planning a (2nd) cross-country trip to Maine from the Oregon Coast where we live, and we hope to show up at an FMCA rally somewhere along the way!

Hudson probably sold that bus off after 10 or 12 years of service it will be hard to find history of owners for the past 25 + years, I did see your bus at Georges place (Northwest RV Surplus in Eugene) before though

Clyde, very, very nice: almost as nice as my 4104 

I notice you have a full width rubber skirt across the back.  Have you noticed any over-heating problems?  GM always put the skirt in front of the engine compartment to control airflow.
