So we are back from our last trip in the bus. It has served us well, and we are ready to move it on. We will list it on Craigslist, and mcibustalk.com. Any other ideas?

We are asking 25K for it. She has a long list of features. It is very livable, but still has quite a bit of fit and finish left (eg, plywood on the ceilings, and back walls). But the front is carpeted, has nice sofa's, cabinets, full size fridge, 7 bunks, queen bed, pull out couches, etc etc. I will put together a partial list of what we have into it below.

20KW Kubota Genset, in a quiet box, and has a Marathon head.
2 X 4,000 Watt Trace Inverters
6 X Trojan Deep Cell Batteries
Oasis hydronic heating system (diesel fired, like an Aqua Hot)
5 X 15,000 Due Therm Penguin AC's, that have never given us any trouble. They are ducted, and are thermostat controlled.
All oak cabinets
Peninsula Windows
4 X Flex Steel leather couches
1 X Flex Steel Leather shotgun seat
Spray Foamed (closed cell) insulation
200 gal of grey water
100 gal of black water (empty of course)
110 gal of fresh water (has a water meter to monitor usage)
Pex plumbing
"New" Rebuilt Allison B500 transmission
S60 Detroit Diesel
8in roof raise
All tanks have electric heat to them, and pipes are wrapped with electric heat tape. It was designed to go to northern Canada in the winter.

If we don't sell it, it will go to Sam Caylor to be scrapped.

Any ideas folks? I will add pictures tomorrow or Thursday.

Cheers,

John

Once having a bus conversion for 20 years, now trying to like the fancy store bought coach, while very nice, fine, comfy, dependable, it still does not provide the happy feelings I always had from the old MC7.  Thinking I need to go back to a bus, maybe a Provost chassis if they are still all stainless.??

Clifford, I would actually sell it back to him. He is welcome to it ;D

Grant, we are washing it, and cleaning it out today. You will have pics.

Dave, I agree. Stainless steel buses are great. However, we aren't traveling like we used to. Back to a van, trailer, and hotels :'(

Thanks

And don't forget to mention that it trucks right along....a couple of years ago we were on I-40 and had just crossed into Texas headed east doing a comfortable 65-70 mph when they passed us and left us in their dust. ;D
Used to own a 1968 MCI 5A and a 1977 5C.
