Anyone use a Power conditioner/regulator??

So I'm wiring the bus and will be using Shore power from homes and businesses and a generator at times as well. The bus is now wired for A/C just like a home would be and I want to protect my six LCD screens and dozen game consoles as well as signage and LED lighting. I was looking at Furman power conditioners but they don't actually regulate voltage until you get up into the $600 range (at least by my research) and I wanted to be sure they had surge protection AND voltage regulation so I didn't do any damage or add any noise into the line(s). I am not currently running an inverter - I believe most of them do all of this but I was able to fins some smaller 600 and 1200 APC regulators that are plug-in units just like their UPS' for $50 a piece - so I would just use one for each line.

Any thoughts??

Yes, just use standard UPS units on everything or a big one for the whole bus.  Then you have backup power as well as conditioning.  During the hurricanes I ran all of my servers from my generator through their UPS units for days and they ran just fine.  That is my plan for my bus once I start mounting that stuff in there.

THanks Mung,

Anyone else run into this issue or prob more likely you are all running inverters so you've already solved that problem?

My Outback inverter says that it solves the problem but I'm not going to bet the bank on it (and there are a few things about it that I don't like -- unrelated to this -- anyway).
