Hi Guy's,

I have to pick up a Prevost on Louden NH this weekend and bring it to my shop in NJ for repairs.
I was wondering if anyone would be driving through NJ heading up to NH to the nascar race that
could give me a ride up?
No worries if not, I could always treck up with my Hummer and drag it home behind the coach.

Thanks
Nick-

Nick, I've heard stories that you can stand on the side of a roadway with a thumb pointed in the air and people will stop and give you a ride!  Amazing. Haven't tried it,
but I know from my youth if you stand by the highway when trucks are passing and pull your fist up and down, they'll honk their air horns, so this thumb thing might be true!  ::)

Hiding in the bushes while a buxom gal sticks her leg out works better... :o

It's similar. But I've also heard that the angle of the thumb can dramatically effect results. Apparently one way means, "I need a ride", and the other means, "Right on, Dude, I like your car."

You should go with Eagle's idea and use the leg of a buxom gal.  ;D

Sorry Nick. I probably shouldn't have said anything because we're all having fun now, and you're not getting a ride!  ::)

Make the trip to Arcadia for New Years. Well worth the time and fuel expense!
