Question fro Mexican Bus Nut or anyone who knows about DINA

I came across a DINA school bus chassis brochure from the mid 1970's While I don't speak or understand spanish, it does show that the Model 500 chassis(front engine) lists as available CUMMINS and PERKINS engines as the choices. But then, I see the MERCEDES BENZ logo on the front. Did MERCEDES BENZ supply the chassis alone and not the engines? I'm curious now to the point where I must know. Thanks Guys.
