The Eagle 10S, which stood for "Suburban."  They were commonly used on commuter routes.

Seangie and the Turtles have a 10S, it could have been them.  I know you saw it in a Meijers parking lot, but where?

Wasn't us.  We are hiding out in the Pacific Northwest.  Would love to see pics though!  Ours is a 40 foot 10S with 2 axles.  Nice tohave the extra space and not have to index the bogies.

I have a 40ft transit that has only 2 axles. Transits are built stronger then over the road buses. Even with all my junk in the bus, I weigh 32,000lbs-11,000lbs front, 21,000lbs rear. I am 2,000lbs in front and 2,000lbs in rear away from maximum. 2 axles are not to be afraid of. Good Luck, TomC

Transit buses don't even come close on the ride part with the 3 axle buses that includes the 10S Eagle IMO

Your correct on the ride part with Torsilastic suspension. But, for instance, yestersday I stopped on a highly crowned road and was able to level my bus with my air suspension. Can't do that on an Eagle. Good Luck, TomC

One other consideration is only 4 wheel end brakes instead of 6.

At least with my transit, my brakes are 14.5 x 7 in front and 14.5 x 10 in the back. Very large brakes. Good luck, TomC

I just read the title again and had to laugh :D--- Is this a UNI-BUS?? ;D  I would think it is hard to balance and steer with just one axle!!!!! :D ;D
