Air tank in my 5a is getting porous , and starting to weep water. Any idea where I can get a  replacement, and how big a job it is to change out?

Which air tank.....do you have drains on them? You should drain them every time after you run it.
Used to own a 1968 MCI 5A and a 1977 5C.

The wet tank on an MC-5 may be the same as much later models like the MC-9, so I would definitely check on that and see if MCI has one that could work.

My tanks on an MCI 9 is right behind the front axle tucked up in a space...Remember, to make sure you block up the bus real good and safe before getting under it!

I do believe it is the wet tank. It is loaded directly in front of rear tires. It does have a drain, which I drain faithfully. I think 46 tears has finally taken its toll. Thanks for help

That's the wet tank on a 5A.
That's interesting. That is the dry tank on the 5C and is behind a metal wall in the last bay on the driver side. I pulled the wall out and put a pull drain on it and a gauge on top so I can check tank against tank. My wet tank is in the front axle wheel well area on the wall and is easy to loosen the straps that hold it but the top has very short fittings that are extremely tough to get to without taking out the floor above first.
