I get a rash of seized injectors from time to time from the bio fuels on the 2 strokes the 4 letter and number injectors (9G90)etc seems to be the worse it doesn't seem to bother the old N series injectors as those things were manufactured using a yard stick

The old 2 strokes are so low in pressure it doesn't take much to screw one up they will spray a pattern at 850 psi that is nothing compared to the common rail system @ 30,000 psi I don't think 15% bio will hurt one JMO

California is running 100% Diesel. If it has BioDiesel, it will be listed on the pump as B10, or more popularly, B20. I run B20 in my '84 Mercedes and notice no difference. Most new Diesels with high pressure common rail injection is only rated to B20 (including DD engines). BioDiesel is a noval thing right now. I would stick to regular pump Diesel.

It is interesting to note that if we were using 100% BioDiesel, that last years entire production would be used up in a couple of weeks. We have a long way to go before we can be 100% petroleum Diesel independent. Good Luck, TomC

CA has it's own fuel blend it is different than most states all one has to do is look at CARB's max cetane it is well below the 50 for standard fuels for the 2 strokes

good luck
