40W oil in LV

Hi All, just picked up some Mobil Delvac 1240 40W, here in Las Vegas Valley, at Western Refining, the Mobil Oil Distributer in North Las Vegas. At $16.37 a gallon. Delo 100, which you can get at O'Reilys, on Spring Mt Rd for $12.99 a gallon and Union 76/Conoco T5X 40W at $11.22 a gallon at the Rebel Oil distributer near Sahara and the I15 fwy. I know a lot of you pass thru LV and a lot of towns don't carry these brands any more, all three of these places are easy to get to, just passing on the info, lvmci...

Ok folks, Hope I`m not jacking or derailing this thread but thought it was relevant.  My 5A is  in the service garage in Port Charlotte Fla and I tagged a couple threads on oil/40 wt and ash content and gathered it  was important for my engine and
as I`m searching the forum for specific brands and ash % content I see the posts are from 07 and one says that as of end of 07 no more ash in the oils per EPA/Gov??? Info on best oil to tell service tec to use please as I can dictate/order the oil needed per MCI/my recommendations. as long as its still available?
Any help would be GREAT!!! I`m drafting a service needed list and would like to include to exact oil needed .
  And if anyone knows , lubes for the rest on the drive train as I`m gona have`m change`m all.

I just bought 2 gallons of Rotella 40W at Napa today for my friend's bus which I'll be delivering to him in AL later this week. It was nearly $19 per gallon!!

Any good 40w will work ash doesn't come into play with the new fuel I am a fan of Delvac 1240 myself for the 2 strokes not a big fan of Delo 100 JMO

Hi Lou, buy your own 40W, provide it to the service person and ask for the jugs back, believe me I have said I would provide and pick up the oil, only to be told they had some. when the oil all leaked out at a fast rate, I found out, they had put their own generic 10/40W oil from the shop pump system, despite their assurances,  lvmci...
