This was in Alabama on I-20. I guess only the government can get away with towing a 40 foot trailer behind a 40 foot bus. Or maybe the ones in the back was pushing? As I remember it 3 of them were yellow and one was white. What gender are the white ones? This might be a good way to practice driving one of those 80 foot articulated buses you used to see for sale now and then.

Drive and drop is a fun job :)..one day ya can be driving a tractor trailer repo returning it to a bank, etc cross country, the next time ya can be driving a lemo from chicago to california, dealer trades, and the list goes on.When i got to the drop off i checked in and flew to the next pick up,never knew what the next job was.Lots of fun and perks... ;D...George.

As to the gender of the white one, here in North Carolina ,the white ones are school activity buses.

Well, if they can do that, then next time our MCI breaks down, I'm calling one of you guys to tow me. Some of you are pretty open about how much power your bus has :) time to flex :)

I often see groups of buses being delivered with one bus towing a van that the drivers get home in.  For some reason, the van often seems to be a Chevy Astro.  Maybe they are easy to set up for towing?

Our high rise sleeper trucks are delivered three at a time. But-they use a special I-beam that bolts to the frame by the drive axles, then extends all the forward to lift up the front axle just off the ground. The I-beam then raises up and has a fifth wheel to attach to the next truck in front. Pretty trick-it took many tries for them to get it right. After delivering many trucks, the delivery company has a semi come in and pick up the I-beams to transport back to the factory for the next bunch of trucks. They do this because the high rise sleepers are too tall to piggy back anymore. Good Luck, TomC
