How do you get to be an "ignored user"?

Is there a sign-up sheet?

What are the dues?

What are you using?

Who ignores you?

Is there a manual or do you just guess at the rules?

Any other available information might be helpful to an aspiring user!

If you look at the left hand side of a post, there is an "ignore" button.  If I hit the ignore button on your post, I would be ignoring you.  If you hit the ignore button on my post you'll be ignoring me.  I think it just shows blanks where the ignored person has posted but I don't really know, I've never ignored anyone.  I believe I'm ignored by two people, at least I used to be - haven't checked in a while.

Easy Gary you just piss someone off, the BNO board does not have one so if you piss off someone there they come here to ignore   I don't use it either not that important to me

I had believed that most of the ignores were for comments on the Off Topic section.  When I used to participate in that more, I had a higher number.  Now I am down to a pathetic two.  Clifford, I think 6 is quite respectable, but 11 is certainly worthy of envy.  Anyway, if my wife signed up for this board, I would be ignored by one more.
