Old Ford, I just responded to your PM. It was all typed, I just never hit send.

Dave, thanks. It has been fun. And yes, there are things that were more fun for others, then me. LOL We have put a tremendous amount of time and effort into that bus. I will miss it.

Steve, let me get some pictures rounded up. I will send them in a personal message. It might be a few days, since we have a family crisis going on right now.

Dave, you are a peach of a guy ;D. It would just show how strong those buses are!
Sold - MCI 1995 DL3. DD S60 with a Allison B500.

John - So sad.  It kills me to see you go through all that to get it right and have it come to this. If you are as young as you say it wont be long until the addiction rears its ugly head and another bus lands in your lap.

Was really hoping to get a chance to meet you and see your bus.

The S60 and B500 combo sounds fantastic and Id love to stick it in my bird.

If we were in a place to get the work done Id seriously consider it.

Would it be feasible to remove the engine, tranny, and all vehicle parts and put to remaining house onto a truck chassis making it into a hybrid bus/truck conversion?
You don't have to believe everything you think.

John - My wife suggested selling the engine and tranny and using it as an in-law apartment or a guest house for visitors especially if it compliments your property in any way.

Or somebody could use it as a storage shed, a shop, a garage, a greenhouse, or a chicken coop.
Used to own a 1968 MCI 5A and a 1977 5C.

Is the engine a 11.1 or a 12.7 ? most MCI's of that vintage were 11.1 they were good engines just no demand for 11.1 everyone want the 12.7 or the 14 L.Somebody will buy his bus as a unit it still has life for the right owner
Life is short drink the good wine first
