Hello all! When the air pressure builds up on our MCI 9, it is leaning 2 1/2 inches higher on the passenger side, which makes the driver side lower.  Any suggestions from the group as to what is causing this and how to make any adjustments to correct this situation.

Thanks,

Jim

You have height control valves that need to be correctly adjusted.>>>Dan  (usually one on each side at the rear axle to control side to side lean and one on the front axle to control front to back pitch)

Is it actually reaching 120 psi?  sounds like you either have a defective height control valve (maybe disconnected) or a hole in your air bag. The latter would probably not allow the bus
to air up fully, though.

After it airs up, turn the bus off and go listen to around the rear wheel wells and see if you hear air escaping.

Linkages to the leveling valves often come loose or hole out and cause minor height differences.

Happened to my 4104 and it looked like a heeling sailboat!

This is why it is nice to have manual over ride leveling solenoids just in case like this situation.  I have a slow valve. Once it is up, it stays level. Good Luck, TomC

Sounds like a pin hole in one of your air bags

Tom, I do have a manual leveler and currently am having to set pressure at 75 psi and 20 psi to level it.  But I would love for the auto leveling to work....

Are you leveling the rear or front?

Leveling is done at the rear.
