Saw this while searching something else, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Za63ltkMGGE Also saw one in Amsterdam and Budapest...
I can only imagine what it would be like to have that kind of money to burn.
Would love to see an old Buffalo do that...

Can't be used in salt water, so won't work for my trip to Asia.
You don't have to believe everything you think.

If I had that kind of money, I sure and heck wouldn't be wasting it on something like that!

But what is the point of wearing floatation devices....there appears to be no way out of the thing.  Excape hatches.  One would quickly drown inside if it ever flooded.  My read.  No way I would even take it out onto a very very calm sheltered lake cove.  No way.  HB of CJ (old coot who is afraid of drowning)

That's been around for a few years but I have no idea how many were actually sold. Not really a bad idea and you never have to worry about flooding and finding a shortcut. I would guess that some dumb dumb out there may try that with any other motorhome. :)

That outfit builds landing craft and a lot more stuff for the US Government I am sure they have sold some of the units that yours and my tax dollars has paid for   ::) I  heard and only hear say FEMA has 4 of those

Umm there's a big sliding door on that back deck. And must be a roof hatch those kids diving off the roof didn't jump up there.
Also looks like the main door is above the waterline too!

Now what I'd like to see is it getting up on plane and looking like it's actually driving on water like they did with the camaro and corvette they built boats out of!

Yeah.  I wouldn't spend my money on one but if a friend got one, I'd sure go to the lake with him!  I like it.

Much easier just to pull a boat behind. This is my idea-to pull a boat and have my car inside. Then go around the country and visit all the inland water ways-and there are a lot of them from rivers to lakes. I think a boat like the Bayliner 246 or 266 Discovery would be a good one. Then at least you could get up and go. Good Luck, TomC

Might be just fine and dandy under certain controlled conditions.......maybe.  However, when things go non planned or a series of non fortunate events cascade in particular sequence.....they call it a disaster.  Glug glug glug.  Kinda like bungee jumping into active volcanoes, body surfing mega tsunamis or sky diving without a parachute....there are somethings sane people should not do.  I think we can safely include this floating motor coach.  Not a Bus Conversion.  My read only.  I love this forum.  HB of CJ (old coot) :) :)

...."Honey....is it my imagination or are we somewhat lower in the water?"  "Oh, by the way, none of us can swim."  "Just how deep is the lake here anyway?"  This un sinkable motor coach does have emergency scuba gear inside it.....doesn't it?"  "Who wants another drink?"  "Honey, why isn't the tack working any more?"  "My Gawd...is that water I see?" :) :)
