It's really ashamed that they couldn't continue to manufacture units until everything was used up. A gigantic inventory! Good Luck, TomC

I just read this week that the plant would reopen soon under new ownership.

Monaco didn't go out of business.  They just quit making trailers.  They still make motorhomes.  The new onwer of the factory will be making motorhomes instead of trailers so they probably didn't want the materials and machinery.

There was talk about Allied closing the plant in OR and moving all operations to Elkhart I know they are selling off some of the brands like Holiday Rambler,Beaver and Safari

That Presidential fifth-wheel sure looks nice.  I'll be interested to see how heavily it is discounted, particularly assuming it comes as-is with no warranty support, etc.  Someone is going to get a good deal.  And home-builders are going to clean up at this thing if they get a chance to attend!  If anyone goes, please report back.
