Have a good friend who is traveling across the US in a 4106. they are stranded in Oklahoma City OK after their v730 transmission gave out. Im trying to help, any suggestions for him. His name is Jason Condie and his number is 607-3493486. The allison dealer quoted 10k for rebuild :(. Thank you

Have Jason call Charlie at Tejas in Mineral Wells Tx 940-325-2332 he will have a used one or know where to get one I see he has the bus at Jefferson if they do it the bill will look like the US war debt

good luck

Thanks I told him. Jefferson bus sounds very high. Does anyone have another bus place located in the area. He is actually sitting at a Allison place. Anyone know how hard it is to convert back to manual? Found one with the clutch for 300

It would cost big time to convert back and would probably be hard to find the parts to do it with one thing he would need is the flywheel and all the linkage, what is wrong with the transmission ?

 It would be one price to "REPAIR" the trans and quite another to "OVERHAUL" it.>>>Dan

  Hi;
   Have jason call a couple of charter outfits. They can probably
   refer him to someone in the area.
                              Good luck
