Gentlemen
I am moving the muffler from the genset box to reduce the heat, and need a recommendation for a small, quiet one. I could use the orgional but the inlet and outlet are on the sides and it would be difficult to mount. There is no wall between the 6v 92t and the genset. I am building a quiet box. Will add walls a bolwer and insulation to keep it cool and as quiet as possible. I have already made a hinge that allows it to swing out for maintenance, that seems to work well. This is a 10 KW diesel with w 3 cyl Yanmar engine. Only 85 hrs. so the muffler is in great condition.  Any and all input is needed and welcome! Thanks for your help.

Call Wrico International in Eugene, Or. They will have the proper muffler for you. Don't just use a car muffler-the holes in the baffles are typically too small and will plug up over time. Good Luck, TomC

I talked to Dick today. Installed the orgional muffler with a ss breaided pipe between it and the engine. Will test run it soon. If vibration is felt in the coach I will mount the muffler on rubber pads to reduce the vibration.
Thanks for your help.
