Hmmm, I thought Gillig had put the engine on a set of rails, so you just roll it out.  Sure does not look like that is the correct way.  Anyone know how Gillig removed the engine from a 89 Transit?

They are easy use a pallet jack and a cradle or a dolly undo the 6 motor bolts jack the engine up either pull the bus forward or let the bus down and roll the engine out Eagles don't have rails and they are easy to remove so is the Orion transits I think those are on a Gillig chassis without rails

One reason I loved the MCI with the slide rails,  slide it back to do clutch & trans, just a simple one man deal.

If you have an automatic, you never have to worry about a clutch job (LOL).
