Scott, we were talking with the turtles and I think we might swing by on Sunday on our way through to Chi-town. Look forward to meeting you all and adding a bus to the picture. Craig

This was the best news when Sean told me. So Sunday night, we're hoping to create some great memories with you guys! Trying to convince Dave (Tikvah) to come down  ;D Anyone else want to put pressure on him? That would be 4 coaches...pretty sure that qualifies for "rally" status.

Owner Dave (mcibustalk.com),

You gotta go down! No question about it. Scott will even pay for your fuel ;D rofl.

It is only two hours, for cryin' out loud. Just do it. Just watch out for Scott if he has a grinder or sawzall. He recently put holes in his bus ;)

We would be there in a heart-beat.   Amy loves playing... gospel, contemporary Christian, old honkey-tonk, even some big-band era.  But, we sold our house and we're traveling (by car) on the weekends back to Cheboygan, MI to empty and sell out our household.  She gets to play at church when we go back (and they even let me preach once in awhile) but this weekend simply won't work.

Maybe next weekend ? ? ?   But I imagine you guys will be rolling down the blacktop by then.

We're here (In Muskegon, MI) till it gets too cold, then we plan to roll south to destination unknown.  We're open to ideas about location.  We're not fully able to be self sufficient.  We will be seeking some kind of work or work-camping (or both) in an area around the Tennessee/Georgia line.  Could be anywhere from the Mississippi river to the Atlantic Ocean.  Just warm enough to keep from freezing but not too far south.
We're open to ideas

Dave,

Sean and Angie and Heather and I will still be here the weekend of the 17th. We'd love to have you!  What else do we need to do to convince you? Cookies? Favorite flavor?

You guys are killing me.  We really would love to connect and catch up.  But, the house sale trumps all our priorities.
We're here in Muskegon at a small private campground if you have any desire to drive north.  But this place probably pales in comparison to your current location.

We're here during the week (I work here during the day), and going north on the weekends.

Otherwise, we'll catch up on the road someplace another time.

Hey, we understand...we were in your shoes two years ago. We will catch up with you guys at some point. We are headed up to Glen Arbor (in our 4x4 not our coach) Wednesday Aug. 21 and could see you guys sometime around lunch give or take. Just to say a quick "hi" on our way up to GA. PM me if you think that's a possibility in your hectic schedule. If not, we'll make it work some other time.  :)

Here's some pics of the past 24 hours. The Hollands are heading to Chicago this morning but we are so grateful they stopped long enough to play, sing, and eat a little. Of course plenty of bus stories were swapped amongst Sean, Craig, and I and our wives swooned over each others' coaches and it was just a wonderful night. t
