Saw a fully restored one at the Gilmore Car Museum a few months ago.  The bus was on tour.  Front passenger door leads to stairway up to center driver's seat.  Back seat for 2-3 people.  Has dual wheels FRONT and rear.  Front Driver's door leads to engine compartment big enough to get in and work on engine (6 cyl. gas).  Always wanted one since I was a kid, but out of my price range.
