Ok I buy that ::)the only 8v71TA I saw with a complete run made with a rubber hose was well done after the fire

Clifford, I posted a pic of the original turbo drain setup on my engine as it was supposed to be installed in the M110 Howitzer.  The turbo drain output on the turbo housing is a 2" long smooth tube stub, you are going to have to put a hose on it if only to couple to the metal tube extension.  I don't know how else to do it.  Now you have me all worried  :o

That engine had a rear drain ? I still never saw one like that it from DD it would scare me

The original drain tube location was into the accessory cover that was where a power steering pump would be on an MCI, the lower left-most drive position.

Bevans ;and others ck out bus projects I just started a progress post. pic are about 6 month old.  I lost about 9month due to back surgery. Finishing now.   Bob
