need Prevost upper clarence lights

I have a 1992 prevost XL , I am trying to find upper clarence lights  , Prevost has them back ordered with no date when they will have them. Its a simple flat light but I have tried to find them and no luck

Prevost does not make clearance lights.

There should be a number on them. Just use that number and try to order them that way.

I have some of the red or amber square ones from the back of the H3 but I don't have the upper clearance ones.

I use the square ones to replace the corner reflectors on my Eagle. They are then clearance, emergency, and turn signals.

They work pretty good.

If they are the ones I am thinking of the manufacturer was Truck-Lite. A google search should help you identify the light and who distributes them. Possibly Model 15?

Great part about having a Prevost hard copy parts books is it will tell you the manufacture and their number  Jon is correct about the manufacture

My guess was from being up close and personal on a ladder trying to get the bugs off the front cap and I thought I remembered what lights they were. You are right. No substitute for the hard copy although with enough digging on the Prevost web site you can find answers.

Truck Lite - available thru NAPA. Got mine there for my 92XL. Gerry H

NAPA is great if you need the lights right away.  They can be very expensive.  I remember one light was twice the price as the same light at Ryder Fleet Products.  NAPA claimed their cost was more than the retail at Ryder.  Some of the Truck-Lite lights at NAPA are listed under a NAPA house brand, but they are Truck-Lite lights.

Your first name would be nice?  Go to prevostcar   web site.  You can print out a coach specific manual for your coach.   Last letter in your serial # plus last 4 numbers example mine is W 6553.  You need to play around with site a little but it will work. when entering use left side of site.  Give supplier # and prevost # in many cases. What the others have said is dead on.  I got mine from Ryderfleet  because they were out.  Bob
