Hi Im still looking to buy a GM bus. If you have sent me info about a bus, please resend it. I lost all my info and pictures I had. Im looking for a Gm bus since I really like the old look of them.

Sent you 3 california coaches currently for sale. If you want a basic no frills project I know of a 1953 for 3k firm, but it needs 6 tires (new or used).

Well, it's not a GM, but I talked to a friend of mine earlier this week and he's thinking of selling his 82 MC9. New tires. Nearly complete interior. Not a palace, but it's functional, and
in pretty good condition. He's talking about $20K for it. It's currently located in Eastern SD. If interested, email me and I'll put you in touch with him. We'll probably be listing it in
the classifieds within a few months and possibly get a page on my web site for it, too.

Hey Harleyman!  How's the search going.  You had a couple of candidates, how did they turn out?  Or still in progress?

Look in craigslist in under Bus Conversion. I saw one last night that needs some work (engine internals) but I think you could get the bus real cheap. Looked completely converted. The bus was blue!

Good luck!

There are several nice looking buses on the Portland craigslist.  They are very affordable.  What is your budget?

Nice bus.  Mounting the washer/dryer horizontally must have been difficult.

Please don't buy one of these old Eagles, no matter what the price is unless there is a way to inspect/certify that the structural metal underneath and especially in walls is in good condition or has been properly replaced. There have been too many horror stories about this over the years. Unless, of course you love to tear apart/ dismantle and repair coaches with lots of extra money and time. In this regard, an older GMC would be a better choice, even over an older MCI, as they had similar rust issues also. Of course old GMC's have their own set of issues, but not this major one. Bottom line...just spend the time to thoroughly check one out before jumping on it. Now is a good time to get something, as the economy and especially fuel prices has caused conversions prices to plummet. There are many steals along with the junk.
The Eagle and MCI owners will probably weigh in with their experiences and tips.
