Hello all,

Looks like my bus had a Cruise Master on it at one time.  Not sure if this was orginal equipment or not.
However, the box at the engine has been removed, before I own the coach.

How diffcuilt is it to add a cruise control?  Or to fix the Cruise Master?

Thank you for the help!

The single best thing I ever did to the frenchy-bus was to put a King Cruise on it.  As cruise installations go it was a pretty simple job.  The biggest challenge was running a multi-conductor cable from the engine to the cockpit.  I got a reconditioned unit - as I recall maybe $250 initially but the new ones are significantly more I think.

The last thing I would ever want to do is hurt you.
Its the last thing but its still on the list.

I have a King Cruise also. I installed the actuator (the box with the cable that pulls the throttle) in the cab pulling down on the gas pedal since I have an air throttle and wanted the automatic transmission modulator to work. The advantage is the box is also the brains so it is protected from heat and wet. You can use the King cruise also for fast idle. Good luck, TomC
