Hello all, I have searched the archives but maybe I didn't word my request right. I am looking for advice on the best, solid, quality entrance door latch for the sedan door on my MCI 102c3. On my other bus's, I have in the past used the standard Bargman paddle latch like a store bought RV uses, but they are built so cheap there must be something better out there. Seems like years ago there was a post about a Kenworth semi door latch? Anyone have a lead or part number or brand or any thoughts on the best way? Thanks!!!!!

The best latch I have found and used is called "the bear claw", available at most automotive outlets.>>>Dan

Here's a great piece from long ago and far away:

putting "entrance door latch " into the archive at BNO gets you a lot of good reading.

happy coaching!

That's exactly what I used.  It is really a solid lock.

Try Trimark Industries.  Have one of theirs and like it.  Big selection, great quality.

thanks all for the info. I am still researching the best way to go, hope to get something this week. Just looking for something very high quality, perhaps something with a push button combination lock like the entertaineer bus's use. Anybody out there have any info on what the entertainners use?????
