Parking brake release problem

I believe the 85 psi regulator is in the compartment under the driver. Failure of rear air tank? Compressor hose?

I went out today to try to move the bus and to get a better look at things and everything seemed to be working fine untill i went to sent the parking brake again and then the noise started again and the bus has problems airing up enough to release the parking brake again it seems like when you push on the parking brake button there is alot of pressure on the knob. And as the bus starts to build air pressure the noise gets louder and louder.

It worked once ok? then malfunctioned 2nd time?

Yes it seems like something is sticking in one of the valves not sure what to do.

I don't know much about your particular bus system. It were like mine I would look at the valve in the rear that tells the parking brakes to release.  Has a small yellow line (control line) in my case. that comes from the parking valve that you release in the front.  I have in a emergency squirted a small amount of puematic oil (air tool) into that line to help out a dry valve--works on air wipers and other valves.  This is not a repair but often acts as a way to figure out what is wrong.  I hate something that just happens once in a while. I call them Ghost.  Just as soon they break and not work at all!     Bob
