Daniel McMurphy Fund Update

I just put a cashier's check in the mail to Daniel McMurphy. The check was $1789.10 and was the balance collected at Bussin' 2007.  This included personal donations, Bussin' 2007 donation as well as the CCEA's half of the New Years Eve 50/50 drawing. Both 50/50 winners also donated all or part of their winnings. Also included was the balance in Craig Shepherds Daniel McMurphy Fund PayPal account as of 1/5/07.  Combined with the check Ace sent last week, the Busnuts have donated slightly over $6000.00. With this in mind, I want to say I am proud to call myself a Busnut!  Thanks to everyone for their part.  Jack

Yea me too! Kind of makes you sit back and feel good about what you, myself, and everyone else involved has done to help out one in need!

This is awesome news, and I received a notice that more contributions have arrived in the paypal account (thanks Nick).

Ace or Jack, please send me Dan's address when you get a minute. When I get home in a couple weeks, I'll make another distribution directly to him from whatever has been sent in since the rally.

Well, I think this project is wrapping up.  I have not received any new donations for several weeks now.  The donation website is still open, and as far as I'm concerned, it can remain open in case anyone still wishes to contribute to Dan and his family. I'll leave it up to Brian, as it's hosted on his server. Any further donations I receive will be forwarded directly to Dan, and I'll update this thread.

Last week I sent a check to Dan and his family in the amount of $111.06, which was the current balance in the paypal account.

To date, contributions through the paypal account and sent directly to me total $4131.56.  This figure doesn't include the monies collected at the rally by Jack (see above posts).
