We have a LOT of wind noise from our windshield. The problem is we have no idea what is producing it. I don't even know what is standard, but here goes.

Driving down the road we hear that irritating wind noise. We pinpointed where most of it is coming from inside. Then we took our leaf blower and used it on the outside, again confirming where the worst of it was coming from. The problem is, the rubber has a really tight good seal to the glass. There are no other gaps that I can see, and it all looks good in general. What gives? Is wind noise typical? You can hear conversation on the couches behind the driver, but not too well.

What causes the wind noise when there are no gaps? Anybody have any thoughts?

Thanks,

John

They don't need a gap to make noise just take tape and keep moving it around till you find the exact location it may not be a leak, a small deflector like a screw head will stop or cause wind noise fwiw

good luck

Hi yo silver

A bad door seal can produce quite a bit of wind noise too.

Use the leaf blower on the inside and soap up the outside.  If it comes in it must go out.
