Sadly, the original squirrel cage fans were ripped out by the previous owner so I have to find a way to move air past it again.  Brother in law (who has an MCI-9 with the 6v92T) and I are kicking around a few ideas, none are ideal and/or cheap.  We have decided to go with putting a large truck radiator with fan in the back where the AC used to be and see if that fixes anything.  If not, will try some of the other ideas also.    I actually live in Arizona but brought the bus to Colorado to swap the engine and now can't get it back home until the overheat is fixed.  Thanks everyone for all the ideas.

What is where your bus ac compressor was? Could go system similar to Prevost side rad with hydraulic fan or drive like prevost?  Bob

Yes I did just what you are asking on my MC 8. Worked great. I cut into the fiberglass tubes that puts the heat into the coach, I made steel shut es that outlet to the outside, I put ss grills on the outside of the coach. I made a slide that cut off all the heat from going into the coach and it exited to the outside, In the winter you removed the slides and installed a cap and then the heat was back into the coach, I used the coach heater controll to turn on the fans, you could make this auto if you wanted to. If you turned the fans on and was standing outside by the shutes it would blow you hat off. Why not use that big radiator.

Now that is a good idea!  use it for cooling in the summer and still retain the option of heat in the winter! I'm working in that bay today, I will have to take a good look at how it all fits together in the 5C.

My latest update on my overheat problem:  found a weak thermostat on the right side and a plugged cavitation line on the left radiator.  Replaced both sides and it is manageable to drive now.   Still overheats on long hill climbs but am now installing a couple small radiator fans in the heater bay to see if that pulls any appreciable heat out.  Looks like I will have a usable bus again instead of a cabin.
