When one of my nieces was really little she used to call our cat the "pissy cat".  That seems appropo in light of my recent brake adventure.  Last night we moved from Dyer Straits east of Regina onto the street in front of Wascana Rehab so we could visit father this morning before we left town.  During the move my brakes got really hot and I subsequently traced the problem to a sticky foot pedal which was in turn caused by misfires when Jorgito-the-idiot-cat uses his litter box which lives under the steering wheel.  A few shots of 3-in-one oil and all is well with the world again.  I built some side extensions for the litter box and installed them a couple of weeks ago so I think the problem is solved in the long term as well but just in case ..................

Anybody want a cat?

Mainly I'm p'd at myself because I was trying to make it complicated. I was imagining all sorts of expensive problems - sticking QRV, leaking relay, etc. I've had exactly the same problem with the footfeed - not sure why it took me so long to put it together for the brake pedal. Big 70 mile move today & all is well. Unfortunately the cat moved with us.

Don't know if this is possible with your Prevost, but Sean's got a terrific kitty litter box setup on his Neoplan.

Might PM him for pics, or a link to pics on his blog.

At least it was a simple fix - except for the cat, of course!   ;D

I built this guy his own private sh*thouse and he used it for the 1st two years that we were on the road.  Its a drawer under the kitchen sink with its own cat door for entry.  It was easy to clean up, out of sight and the cat seemed to be quite happy with it.  Then all of a sudden he decided he was afraid to go in there and you don't want to hear the rest of the story.  The compromise we reached is that he gets a litter box under the steering wheel.  For the most part it has been a workable compromise.

And Van I like the way your mind works.

I cut a 6x8" hole in the closet floor with a carpeted ramp down to the cat box on the bay floor. Put the box from
the house with stuff in it to draw cats to it and never had a problem since started, 10 yrs now.     06 Bill
