Another in motion satellite tv question

I have seen a couple of new topics here in the last week or so on satellite systems.  I have also been having serious problems with my King Dome 9762 in motion system the last few weeks.  I would like to know if the problems with these systems are just inherent with this type of technology, or if there are systems that actually work well.  My system is about three years old and has been used maybe five time and is now at the point that it does not work at all, in motion or sitting still. In the last three weeks I have talked to King Controls tech help 9 times and bought over $600 in new parts, each time assured that the new part would solve the problem.  Their tech help seems completely unable to troubleshoot a problem and just want to send out new parts till they stumble upon one that fixes it.  In reading a topic earlier today "muldoonman" did not sound very pleased with his Wineguard system, and then a week or so ago "Ericbsc" said he had a nearly new KVH that did not work and that their tech help was as poor as their system.  I am about ready to trash my King Dome, but at this point I am unsure if there are any better options.  If there is anyone here on the board that has any technical knowledge of the King Dome system beyond what is in the manual I would greatly appreciate the help.  I do realize that a dish on a tripod outside the coach will work but I want a in motion system.  Is there anything out there that actually works?

My king dome works fine and has consistently --- It did malfunction when I first got it and I sent it to the factory under warranty ( I had to pay the shipping ) and they sent it back and it has worked well since --- I can confuse the in motion if I do a bunch of turns and underpasses at the same time -- then patience is a virtue --- in a little while it gets back on track.

If it won't go FORCE it ---- if it breaks it needed to be replaced anyway

A problem we have had is in the setup.  We use our HD receiver from the house.  Well, they are a bear to make work with the non HD antennas.  One thing tech support had told us will make them not work are A/B switches and splitters. We have found that we have to force the box to change it's satellite type before installing it in the bus.  Once in the bus it just doesn't want to change to round 18" dish.  It seems KVH has a special splitter you have to use if you want to use another receiver.
