We bought a bus!

My wife and I bought a bus! A 1977 Eagle model 05 #19734 from the couple who did the original conversion. So including the bus company who originally owned it, we are the third owners.

The 1,300+ mile trip from Florida to New York was relatively uneventful. I am learning (and have lots to learn) about the mechanics of the bus. I already have a laundry list of electrical issues (mostly chassis, some house) to tackle which I am sure is the result of 35 year old wiring and rusty ground connections.

Time will tell if this will be camping intermingled with bus projects or the other way around!

Thanks to everyone who has answered my questions already and offered to show off their conversion before we jumped in. (We jumped in anyway)

Let the fun begin!

Nice Bus

Good way to get your feet wet (checkbook conversion) in this economy --- you will find plenty of things to do if you want to and have fun traveling when you can

If it won't go FORCE it ---- if it breaks it needed to be replaced anyway
